Gia Sas & Welcome to Santorini!
Santorini is an enchanting Greek Island with a distinct character to other destinations in Greece, with striking white-washed buildings perched on spectacular volcanic cliffs and gorgeous perennial sunsets over the Aegean Sea. The friendliness of the locals, or "Santorinians" as they are known, and the fresh delectable cuisine have made this southernmost island in the Cycladic group of islands, one of the most popular in Greece.
If you are planning any Santorini travel in the upcoming months you've arrived at the right place! We've got a range of Santorini Hotels to suit a wide range of budgets, tastes and expectations, along with a good selection of Santorini Villas.
There are plenty of things to see and do in Santorini, with the archaeological site of Acrotiri, an ancient Minoan town that was covered in volcanic ash but well preserved, fantastic beaches with crystal clear waters, many walking trails, as well as the town of Phira (or Thira), an archaeological marvel and capital of the island situated atop the Mesa Vouno mountain overlooking Kamari and Perissa. Of course, Santorini is also perfect for just lazing around with a good book! If you would like more information about accommodation in Santorini, take a look at our Santorini Hotels page.
We offer a range of accommodation across Santorini and to make things easier for you when researching your Santorini travels, we've divided out hotels by town/village:
* Fira Hotels
* Firostefani Hotels
* Imerovigli Hotels
* Kamari Hotels
* Megalohori Hotels
* Perivolos Hotels
* Oia Hotels
* Pyrgos Hotels
Altogether, the island of Santorini in Greece has thirteen villages, all of which retain the traditional Greek architecture. Our Santorini map will help you choose where you want to stay on the island of Santorini based on location, whether that is near one of the Santorini beaches or closer the main town. Kamari and Perissa have the most popular beaches with the majority of hotels in Santorini, while Perivolos, Agios Georgios and Monolithos are quieter and not very crowded.
Santorini is well connected to the rest of Greece, with ferries from Piraeus in Athens, Crete and the Cyclades. The Santorini Airport also connects the island with the rest of Europe and the World. You can also read more about getting to Santorini on our Santorini Transport page.
Santorini is known for having clear skies and sunny days throughout the year, which make it a great place to take a holiday!
